Freedom Festival in Orem

I guess orem has this freedom day festival and carnival every year. Seth and Megan invited us to go to it with them. We didn't stay for too long but it was pretty fun and had a bunch of kid activities.

We had the kids ride a spaceship ride together. Preston was acting crazy and kept standing up...it was giving Megan and I heart attacks haha Seriously tho all they had to secure them in was a very lose metal chain. yikes! Thankfully he didn't figure out how to push the button that made it fly in the air. haha

Scarlett waving! She got her face painted...the line was long and we didn't think Preston would sit still for it so we didn't bother. haha maybe next year ;-)

then they rode the carousal...I could hold him on this ride lol Then we went to Seth and Megan's to grill and eat some yummy food. ;-P

Hi, my name is Preston and I have strep throat.

When we got home from church and started making dinner Preston fell asleep...which he never does. I thought it was so cute.

Put him on the couch and he....

...fell back to sleep.

A day later he got a fever and threw up so that is when I took him to the doctor he had strep throat. He took a nap that day and woke up for a min or 2 and then was quiet again so i figured he had gone back to sleep. I walked in and found him asleep again but in the rocking chair...lol He must have realized he was still tired but didn't want to go back to his bed another 2 feet back...lol

Summer Paint Project

I was looking at some different ways to paint coffee tables on pinterest because our tables are old and well I don't care what happens to them lol but I wanted to do something different with them. So Davin and I sanded them and used painters tape to make designs. They turned out ok. The first red we tried was like a magenta...not what we wanted so we had to return it for this red...which ended up being a little bit firehouse reddish. Oh well we like them pretty well. They took so long that we didn't care anymore. ;-P We are soo crafty! lol

Fun in May

Well May was super busy because we moved at the beginning of the month. With a new baby and a toddler it was chaos trying to get everything unpacked and set up. With that in mind I didn't get around to taking many pictures of anything haha.

We finally decided to move because it was difficult for me to carry both Claire and Preston down the stairs. Preston was a little nervous with the stairs at our old apartment because there were about 10 steps of metal stairs and it is difficult for him to maneuver them. I also couldn't stand not having a washer AND dryer. Having two kids and having to take our laundry to be dried at the laundromat was just too much. So we saw the apartment we wanted, signed the lease and then sold our contract within 4 hours. Then we moved within 7 days after that. It was all crazy and sad because I loved our old place. The new place isn't as nice but I love all the storage, washer and dryer, and only 3 cement steps that Preston can climb or even walk up. I can also easily pick him up and put him at the top of the steps or Claire. It took me a little while but I like our new place.

For mother's day Davin got me a hanging basket of flowers That he hung right outside our window. I also got a scenty warmer. I am writing this post months later and well...I think we went out or something. lol ;-) I am sure it was great! ;-)
